Pay back your Dirt!
The Penmachno Trails are managed by a group of volunteers (Menter Bro Machno*), and are not funded by private enterprise or the Forestry Commission. This means they are maintained by volunteers and funded by donations, which is why we ask all riders to 'pay back their dirt' - basically give something back to the trails (please!).
There are a few ways you can get involved & support the trails:

Donate
There are donation boxes at the trailhead noticeboard & in Conwy Falls Cafe or you can donate via PayPal We reckon £2 per ride should keep the trails in tip-top condition... but you can give more! The funds are ploughed back into the trails (repair, maintenance & improvements), with 10% being given to community projects.

Trail Maintenance Days
If you want to get down & dirty on the trails then join one of our Trail Maintenance Days! They run on the last Saturday of every month and involve clearing, digging, filling & strimming (dependent on the time of year & the weather!).
Next date: Saturday 2nd February 2013, 10am - 4pm
Meeting venue to be confirmed (usually Conwy Falls Cafe for a coffee but they may be closed for works) Heading out at around 10am and finishing at around 4pm
